“Sol,” was recorded in MAKU near the border of Iran and Turkey. When I first saw “Basalts Mountain,” it reminded me of a grand piano crafted by nature. In the video, the mountains resemble keys being played like a piano. When Moody mentioned his collaboration with Nils Frahm, I knew I had an idea to explore.
