Synopsis
Simulation of Mr. Yellow is a short Experimental Documentary About A journalist (Shahrazad) who travels to her motherland (Syria-Aleppo) to make reports for the media, in Aleppo a city that is destroyed in the war she meets an old Man all covered in yellow dresses. She gets interested in the yellow man and wanted to make a report about him, but the yellow man doesn’t talk at all. So Shahrazad Start searching for the true story of this old man in whispering of a War-torn city.
Director Statement
“Simulation of Mr. Yellow” is a love story about an old man in yellow who lives alone in
war-torn city of Aleppo “why are people still living in a war-torn city?” that’s a question I used to ask myself a lot before I travel to Syria During my search I watched so many Videos on net about War in Syria most of them were about the warrior, political side or refugee camp problem I get more and more confused by searching. because Each side only committed the other side to the suffering of the people but none of them really care about people at all although in those videos I could watch the people who were still living in a War-torn city. I used to pause the videos and look at people’s faces and made my own dreams about their life stories, never could understand their purpose of living in War-torn cities and When I couldn’t found out any specific answer to my question I decided to see and to show the part of life in Syria witch media usually doesn’t cover. Life of A person who is not in charge of anything at war, a person who doesn’t care about the side of war a person who is not important to anyone. and I meet Mr. Yellow in Aleppo.
